Karamushi weaving is a traditional cloths made from 'Karamushi' also called 'Choma which is uticaceous perennial.
Karamushi weaving of Showa Village has been succeeded for hundreds of years over the generations, and produced high quality Karamushi fibers (Aoso) thanks to producers' proud endeavor and their strict management.
It is excellent in breathability, hygroscopicity and feeling of touch, very strong.in the property of fiber. Its lightness and outlook prove that Karamushi is essential in summer season in Japan because they cannot be produced by other weavings.
